We are recruiting for our client who are looking for a confident, organised and proactive Route Planner to join a lovely team based near Chelmsford. You will be plannibg for a fleet of vehicles operating across multiple sites across the country . This will be a busy varied role

The Role
As part of the planning team, you will work closely with the Service Manager, Drivers, Sales Team, Customer Service Team and Depot Managers to ensure daily operations are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Your day will include
Planning and coordinating daily transport routes
Allocating services, deliveries and collections effectively
Supporting drivers with daily schedules and job allocations
Managing daily transport activity to maintain exceptional customer service
Resolving operational issues quickly and efficiently
Working collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure smooth service delivery
About You
Experience in route planning, transport planning or a very similar logistics role
Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Customer focused with a positive, adaptable approach
Own transport is essential due to office location
What’s On Offer
£33,000 per annum depending on experience

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:30
