How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Electrical Design Engineer – Telecoms
    We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing Telecoms team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their engineering career in a dynamic, supportive, and professional environment, working on a variety of telecoms infrastructure projects.
    You will gain hands-on experience solving real-world engineering challenges while developing your technical and professional skills alongside experienced engineers.
    The Role
    As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the delivery of telecoms infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, gaining exposure to industry standards, design processes, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for telecoms projects
    * Support the preparation of technical drawings, calculations, and specifications
    * Work closely with senior engineers and project teams to meet project deadlines
    * Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
    * Collaborate with internal teams to support project delivery across multiple sites
    * Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timescales
    Skills & Experience
    * Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
    * Strong interest in telecoms infrastructure and electrical design
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    * Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
    * High attention to detail
    * Ability to work effectively within a team environment
