How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant
    March, Cambridgeshire | Full-Time | Long-Term & Short-Term Opportunities | £93-£120 per day (PAYE)

    Are you looking to gain meaningful classroom experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2?

    Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established primary school in March, Cambridgeshire, to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants looking to further develop their skills.

    Your Role in School

    You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted academic support, helping pupils strengthen core skills and build confidence.

    Key responsibilities of Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant include:

    Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
    Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation
    Assisting with SATs preparation (where applicable)
    Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
    Supporting classroom organisation and learning resources
    Contributing to pupil progress and feedbackThe Ideal Graduate or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Will Have:

    A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a relevant degree
    Experience supporting children aged 5-11
    Experience working with pupils with SEN and EHCPs
    Strong communication skills and confidence in supporting learning
