The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business by producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a wide variety of construction projects.
You will work closely with the pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to ensure robust and commercially viable submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning bid strategies
Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required
Ensure all estimates align with company procedures and client requirements
About You
Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of building methods, materials, and regulations
Experience working on projects such as refurbishment, fit-out, or new build
Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
