This role will support the Placement, Planning and Performance Manager in tracking placements and funding for children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the monitoring and management of financial resources, ensuring accurate and timely payments
* Maintain and update systems for SEN statistical and financial data
* Assist with contract compliance and monitoring of specialist placements
* Support budget processes, including financial year-end and planning
* Assist with inter-authority recoupment and joint funding arrangements (e.g. Social Care and NHS)
* Build and maintain relationships with placement providers
* Attend meetings and support placement panels where required
* Provide data and reports for internal and external use
* Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
Requirements:
* Experience in administration within children’s services or working with children and families
* Experience using digital payment or performance systems
* DBS Check is required
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* Good organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills
* Ability to analyse data and produce reports
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of SEND processes (desirable)
* Relevant qualification in Administration, Business, or Finance (desirable)

Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday (hours discussed at interview)
* Weekly pay via agency
* £16.35 per hour
