This role will involve supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and early developmental delays. The focus is on creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils with SEND within the classroom environment
* Assisting with early phonics, communication, and play-based learning
* Helping to implement structured routines and visual supports
* Supporting emotional regulation and social interaction
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting SEND pupils in a primary or early years setting
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
* Understanding of EYFS/KS1 development (desirable)
* Comfortable supporting a range of needs within a classroom setting
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
