Your new role
You will be responsible for:

Delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Planning creative lessons that inspire a love of literature and language
Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress effectively
Contributing positively to department planning and wider school life

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
