How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CSCS Labourer | Cambourne (CB23) | £17ph (£22.61ph Overtime)

    Are you a reliable, hard-working labourer with a valid CSCS card looking for your next contract? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client, a busy electrical subcontractor, on a rewire project based in Cambourne (CB23).

    With guaranteed hours, a competitive pay rate, and optional overtime on top, this is a great chance to keep yourself in consistent, well-paid work for the next 6–8 weeks.

    What's On Offer

    £17.00 per hour for the first 8.5 hours each day
    £22.61 per hour for every hour worked beyond the 8.5-hour daily threshold — a significant uplift for those willing to put the extra hours in

    Optional overtime available, giving you the flexibility to maximise your take-home pay

    The Role

    You'll be working alongside electricians on a rewire of a commercial office and warehouse, keeping the job running smoothly and efficiently. Day-to-day duties will include:

    Assisting electricians with tasks as directed
    Moving and distributing materials around site
    General site tidying and maintaining a clean, safe working environment

    What You'll Need

    A valid CSCS card and your own PPE — this is essential and non-negotiable
    A solid work ethic and the ability to take direction well
    Good timekeeping and reliability throughout the contract
    IPAF licence — not essential, but a definite advantage if you hold one
