How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant
    Full-time, term time only
    Ongoing contract (linked to EHCP funding)

    Redbridge, LondonWe are currently looking for a caring and experienced 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 or KS2 with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Dyslexia, in a primary school in Redbridge.

    The Role
    The school is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with a range of additional needs. The role involves supporting learning, emotional regulation, social development, and sensory needs, helping pupils to access the curriculum and engage positively in school life.

    You may work with pupils both in and outside of the classroom, following individualised support plans and adapting approaches to meet varying needs. The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

    To apply for this position, you must have the following:
    • Minimum 1 year SEND experience in schools
    • Experience supporting pupils with ASC and/or Dyslexia
    • Knowledge of inclusive and supportive behaviour strategies
    • Ability to follow individual programmes (e.g. IEP targets)
    • Experience supporting communication and literacy development
    • Confident supporting pupils with personal care where required
