Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run precision engineering company with over 50 years of manufacturing expertise. Operating from a modern, well-equipped facility, the business provides complete in-house manufacturing solutions to high-spec sectors including aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, and oil & gas.

Key Responsibilities
⦁ Setting, and operating CNC cylindrical grinding machines (Not essential)
⦁ Manual grinding including cylindrical and surface grinding operations
⦁ Grinding components in aluminium and a range of steels
⦁ Self-inspection and maintaining high-quality standards
⦁ Supporting continuous improvement across grinding processes
Equipment / Plant
⦁ CNC Cylindrical Grinders including Jones & Shipman Ultramat and Ultramat 1000
⦁ Additional CNC grinding capacity across multiple Jones & Shipman, Okamoto, and Kellenberger machines
⦁ Manual cylindrical grinding (external and internal)
⦁ Surface grinding machines with capacities up to 500 x 600mm
⦁ Capability for both external and internal grinding with high-precision control
Requirements
⦁ Proven experience in CNC and/or manual grinding
⦁ Experience with cylindrical and surface grinding
⦁ Ability to work to tight tolerances
⦁ Experience machining aluminium and steels
⦁ Experience with Jones & Shipman, Okamoto, or Kellenberger machines beneficial (not essential)
