Long Term Futures are recruiting a number of dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistants to join an alternative provision in Hackney, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience or interest in working with students who require additional support with behaviour, SEMH and SEN needs, within a more specialised and structured educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional needs
Support pupils with SEMH, behaviour and engagement
Assist students in accessing the curriculum in a supportive environment
Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams and pastoral leads
Promote positive behaviour, routines and inclusion
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting students with behavioural, SEMH or SEN needs
Confidence working in an alternative provision or secondary setting
A calm, consistent and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
Background in youth work, mentoring or education (desirable)
Location & Transport - Hackney, East London
