We supply candidates from executive to operative level and are currently working with a contractor who are looking for Painter and Decorator.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Mix and match colours to achieve desired shades and finishes.
Communicate with clients to discuss their preferences and provide professional advice on colour schemes and design options.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.
Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications) of a Painter and Decorator:

Experience in residential properties
Good social skills
Good customer service
Asbestos awareness certificate desired
DBS check
Drivers Licenses
Qualifications desired
