The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences by supervising lessons using pre‑prepared work. You play a vital role in maintaining a calm, safe, and productive classroom environment.

You will:

Supervise classes across a range of subjects using set lesson plans
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Create a positive, respectful learning environment
Support pupils with tasks and ensure work is completed
Build quick, professional relationships with pupils and staff
Who We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching, etc.)
Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
Calm, professional, and adaptable approach
Reliable, organised, and flexible
A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil development
No QTS required – full guidance and ongoing support provided.
