The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant
Seeking a patient and proactive ASD Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-19 with autism and associated learning needs within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, follow routines and develop communication skills. The role involves using visual supports, supporting sensory regulation, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
