Private Client Partner / Senior Associate – Manchester – Up to £160,000 + Benefits
A leading national, Top Tier Legal 500 firm with a strong reputation in high-end Private Client work is seeking to strengthen its Manchester office with the appointment of an experienced Private Client Partner or Senior Associate with a clear pathway to partnership. The firm is recognised for advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices and charities on complex and often cross-border matters.
With a growing national footprint and an established Private Client platform, this is a key strategic hire offering the opportunity to join a high-performing and collaborative team, working on sophisticated, high-value matters while helping to shape the continued growth of the Manchester practice.
The Role:
- Managing a high-quality caseload of complex Private Client matters for HNW and UHNW individuals
- Advising on succession planning and tax-efficient wealth structuring
- Developing inheritance tax mitigation strategies for private clients and families
- Structuring, creating and administering complex trusts, including tax considerations
- Advising on wills, estate planning and long-term asset protection strategies
- Supporting family-owned businesses and entrepreneurial clients with broader Private Client needs
- Playing a key role in the growth and strategic development of the Manchester office
- Collaborating closely with a national Private Client team across multiple offices
- Contributing to business development initiatives and strengthening referral networks
About You:
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE
- Strong technical expertise across tax, trusts, succession and estate planning
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP qualification (highly desirable)
- Established client following or strong referral network advantageous
- Proven business development capability with a commercial mindset
- Experience gained within a respected regional, national or boutique Private Client practice
- Confident, ambitious and motivated by a long-term strategic partnership opportunity
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
