About the Role
We are seeking a Temporary Finance Administrator to support the Capital Projects team within a private hospital environment. This is a short-term assignment with the potential to become permanent, subject to performance and business needs. The role requires an organised and detail-oriented individual who can provide immediate support to ongoing capital works and financial administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support to the Capital Projects team
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims in line with internal procedures
- Track and update project cost trackers and budgets
- Assist with reconciliations, accruals, and data validation
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Liaise with project managers, finance colleagues, and external suppliers
- Support reporting requirements and ad-hoc finance tasks as required
Qualification
- Previous experience in a finance administration or finance assistant role
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident using Excel and finance systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information
Preferred Skills
- Experience within healthcare, construction, or capital projects is desirable but not essential
Pay range and compensation package
Rate: £20 per hour
