Role Overview
We are hiring a Public Affairs Specialist to engage with policymakers, stakeholders, and the public on issues that matter to the organisation. The role combines policy fluency with strong communication — shaping how the company shows up in the policy conversation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor legislation, regulation, and policy trends relevant to the business
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders
- Draft policy briefs, position papers, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate engagement at hearings, conferences, and stakeholder forums
- Partner with legal, communications, and product teams on regulatory issues
- Track and report on public affairs activities and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years in public affairs, government relations, or policy
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes
- Excellent written communication, including policy writing
- Existing relationships in relevant policy areas is a plus
- Comfort with stakeholder engagement and coalition building
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, or related field
