Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $60,000 – $110,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer to advise borrowers and close residential mortgage loans. The role combines consultative selling with mortgage product expertise — moving applications from pre-qual to clear-to-close.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through realtor referrals, inbound inquiries, and outbound outreach
- Pre-qualify borrowers and recommend appropriate loan products
- Collect documentation and submit applications for underwriting
- Communicate clearly with borrowers, realtors, and processors throughout the loan
- Maintain compliance with TRID, RESPA, and other lending regulations
- Manage a pipeline and meet monthly funding targets
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active NMLS license required
- 2+ years originating residential mortgage loans
- Strong understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan products
- Familiarity with LOS platforms (Encompass, BytePro, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Track record of meeting monthly origination targets
