Facilities Assistant – London

A respected law firm is looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of its London office. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where you’ll play a key part in creating an outstanding workplace experience for colleagues and visitors.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting daily facilities operations across the London office, including meeting rooms, shared spaces and events
- Coordinating meeting room and event set‑ups, furniture moves and space reconfigurations
- Managing Facilities Helpdesk enquiries via email, Teams and phone, ensuring issues are logged, tracked and resolved
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers (cleaning, M&E, building management and other FM providers)
- Carrying out daily floor walks and checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
- Supporting new joiners and leavers, including office tours, access, desk set‑ups and business cards
- Ordering office supplies, stationery and equipment, and assisting with POs and invoices
- Maintaining facilities records, intranet updates and internal communications
- Supporting health & safety requirements, including acting as Fire Warden and First Aider
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a professional services or office environment (facilities experience desirable)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Confident communicator with a helpful, service‑driven approach
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence picking up new systems
- A reliable, flexible team player who takes pride in delivering a great workplace experience
