How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Facilities Assistant – London

    Join a leading law firm in the heart of London


    A respected law firm is looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of its London office. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where you’ll play a key part in creating an outstanding workplace experience for colleagues and visitors.


    What you’ll be doing

    • Supporting daily facilities operations across the London office, including meeting rooms, shared spaces and events
    • Coordinating meeting room and event set‑ups, furniture moves and space reconfigurations
    • Managing Facilities Helpdesk enquiries via email, Teams and phone, ensuring issues are logged, tracked and resolved
    • Liaising with contractors and suppliers (cleaning, M&E, building management and other FM providers)
    • Carrying out daily floor walks and checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
    • Supporting new joiners and leavers, including office tours, access, desk set‑ups and business cards
    • Ordering office supplies, stationery and equipment, and assisting with POs and invoices
    • Maintaining facilities records, intranet updates and internal communications
    • Supporting health & safety requirements, including acting as Fire Warden and First Aider


    What we’re looking for

    • Experience in a professional services or office environment (facilities experience desirable)
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
    • Confident communicator with a helpful, service‑driven approach
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence picking up new systems
    • A reliable, flexible team player who takes pride in delivering a great workplace experience
