Overview:
A global banking platform is looking to hire an M&A Associate to join its Metals & Mining team in London. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants live deal exposure, cross-border work and close access to senior leadership in a specialist sector environment.
The role will suit an Associate with solid M&A execution experience who enjoys working on complex strategic assignments across the natural resources space.
What you will do:
- Support execution of sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory mandates.
- Build financial models, valuation work and client materials.
- Coordinate live deal workstreams and manage day-to-day execution tasks.
- Prepare sector and company analysis across metals and mining.
- Work closely with senior bankers on pitches and active mandates.
What we are looking for:
- Associate-level investment banking or M&A advisory experience within Metals and Mining sector.
- Strong modelling, valuation and presentation skills.
- Good exposure to live transactions and fast-paced execution.
- Metals & Mining, natural resources or broader sector experience is helpful, but not essential.
- Confident communication style and strong attention to detail.
