My client, a global organization currently has an urgent requirement for a talented Production Planner /Scheduler to join on a permanent basis. A pivotal role for the organisation where you will be supporting maintenance and facilities operations. Here you will be required to have proven experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the CMMS database, ensuring asset data, maintenance plans, and work orders are accurate and up to date
- Coordinate and track all maintenance activities (planned, reactive, and corrective), ensuring timely and compliant close-out
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules in collaboration with engineering and facilities teams
- Plan and allocate resources to support maintenance delivery with minimal operational disruption
- Oversee service desk activity, ensuring tickets are raised, prioritised, and resolved efficiently
- Monitor work order progress and escalate risks or delays where required
- Facilitate planning meetings to align maintenance priorities with operational needs
- Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure work is completed to schedule and standard
- Ensure compliance with GMP, internal quality systems, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and CMMS records
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience using CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Hexagon, or similar) within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and asset lifecycle management
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
- Background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other GMP-regulated environments
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance requirements relating to maintenance
