Customer Onboarding & Compliance Specialist

We’re partnering with a fast-growing international consumer brand business looking to strengthen its European operations with the addition of a Customer Onboarding & Compliance Specialist.
This is a key role at the centre of the business — ensuring new customers are set up correctly, operational processes run smoothly, and costly errors across the supply chain are avoided.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of how new customers are integrated into the business from an operational perspective — ensuring all systems, processes, and logistics requirements are aligned from day one.
Working closely with commercial, operations, warehouse and finance teams, you’ll act as the link that ensures customer requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and executed accurately.
Alongside onboarding, you’ll play an important role in maintaining operational standards — reviewing issues such as delivery discrepancies, compliance penalties, and returns, and helping drive continuous improvement across the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new customers into internal systems
- Gather and define customer-specific operational requirements (packing, delivery, routing, etc.)
- Translate requirements into clear instructions for warehouse and logistics teams
- Act as a central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners
- Review and challenge customer chargebacks and compliance-related deductions
- Oversee returns processes and ensure accurate inventory handling
- Identify inefficiencies and support improvements across onboarding and operations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in operations, order management, logistics, or customer onboarding
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and interpret data
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Experience working with distribution centres, 3PLs, or supply chain teams
- Confident communicator, able to work across multiple stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and solving problems
