How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We’re the award-winning luxury gifting brand known as the NET-A-PORTER of biscuits. Since 2007, we’ve been hand-icing joy into every biscuit, and in 2025 alone, we iced approximately 3 million!

    Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. As well as our eCommerce business, we have a Notting Hill biscuit boutique, where we offer ‘School of Icing’ events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee…or even a glass of Prosecco. We also work with a huge range of wholesale and corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Head of Channel Expansion. This is currently a fixed term contract as maternity cover, and will require leading the strategic expansion, performance and profitability of our Wholesale and Marketplace channels. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive sustainable, profitable growth by building a high‑quality network of long‑term partners, leading channel strategy, and owning revenue and margin performance. This role sits at the intersection of commercial, brand and strategy and is perfect for someone who loves turning strong partnerships into standout results.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead the strategy and growth of our Wholesale and Marketplace channels, delivering profitable results.
    • Build and manage strong, long‑term partnerships with key wholesale and marketplace partners.
    • Own revenue, margin and trading performance, ensuring disciplined and sustainable growth.
    • Develop and scale the Marketplace channel in line with brand and pricing strategy.
    • Create tailored commercial plans across range, pricing and promotions to maximise partner performance.
    • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team.
    • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, NPD and Operations to deliver launches and activations.
    • Track performance, report on results, and turn insight into clear commercial action.


    What you’ll bring:

    • Proven experience leading Wholesale and/or Marketplace channels with strong commercial results.
    • A relationship‑first mindset, with the ability to build trusted, long‑term partner partnerships.
    • Strong commercial skills, with confidence owning revenue, margin and profitability.
    • Experience shaping ranging, pricing and promotional strategies to drive performance.
    • Marketplace knowledge, with a track record of scaling platforms and optimising execution.
    • Data‑driven thinking, with strong forecasting, planning and analytical skills.
    • Inspirational leadership skills, with experience developing high‑performing teams.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
    • A proactive, opportunity‑led approach with the ability to trade smart and solve problems quickly.

    • Wholesale revenue growth (YoY)
    • Marketplace revenue growth (YoY)
    • Gross margin performance (partner-led channels)
    • Performance, growth and retention of key wholesale accounts
    • Quality and strategic value of new wholesale / distributor partners
    • Forecast accuracy for partner-led channels
    • Strength and depth of partner relationships (qualitative & commercial outcomes)
    • Team performance against agreed objectives
