We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with proven experience delivering permanent and contract hiring, supported by a strong working knowledge of IR35 legislation. This role will manage end-to-end recruitment within an internal TA function, partnering closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, high‑quality hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end in-house recruitment for permanent and contract roles, from role scoping through to offer and onboarding
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on perm vs contract hiring strategies
- Manage the full lifecycle of Recruitment
- Lead direct sourcing efforts using job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, and talent pooling
- Manage recruitment agencies, including briefing, performance management, and rate negotiations
- Ensure all hiring activity complies with UK employment law, IR35 regulations, and internal governance
- Maintain accurate recruitment data in ATS and provide regular hiring updates and reports
- Support onboarding processes, right-to-work checks, and background screening
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Proven in-house recruitment experience within a corporate or enterprise environment
- Demonstrable experience managing both permanent and contract hiring
- Hands-on experience and strong understanding of IR35 legislation and contractor engagement models
- Experience working with PSCs, umbrella companies, and recruitment agencies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using ATS and recruitment systems
Desirable
- Experience in IT, Digital, Technology, or professional services hiring
- Experience working in regulated environments
- Exposure to contingent workforce governance or audits
