MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading Premium Wine & Spirits brand owner on the search for a Head of International Sales & GTR (Europe), ideally based in London.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving performance across European markets and Global Travel Retail. You will lead distributor relationships, manage a small in-market team, and deliver a clear strategy to accelerate growth across both Wine and Spirits categories.
The business has an established international footprint and is now looking for a commercially driven leader to build on this momentum, strengthening partnerships, unlocking new opportunities, and delivering long-term, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead international commercial strategy across key European markets and Global Travel Retail
- Manage and develop distributor partnerships, ensuring alignment and strong in-market execution
- Drive performance across both Wine and Spirits portfolios, maintaining premium positioning
- Deliver annual budgets, forecasting, and commercial targets across international markets
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team based across key territories
- Identify new market opportunities and routes to growth across Europe
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy
- Maintain a strong presence in market, with regular international travel required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in international sales within Wine & Spirits or premium beverage
- Strong track record managing European distributor networks
- Experience across both Wine and Spirits categories preferred
- Background working with premium or luxury brands
- Experience managing and developing teams across multiple markets
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive growth across complex regions
- Additional language skills, particularly French, highly advantageous
- Comfortable with a high level of international travel
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary up to £110,000
