Rate: Up to £76 per hour via an approved umbrella company

Our Client, a leader in defence and security, is hiring for a reputable organisation supporting the UK MOD satellite network, Skynet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, fast-paced programme with hybrid working options.
What you'll be doing:
* Responding to network faults and incidents, providing third-line support
* Managing installation, configuration, and testing of new system components
* Ensuring new services meet UK security standards
* Managing obsolescence to maintain system supportability and security compliance
* Performing upgrades, fault investigations, and system enhancements
* Supporting the design and security of military communication networks
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in designing and delivering IP communication networks, ideally with Cisco accreditation (CCNP preferred)
* Knowledge of IP network architectures and RF Satellite communications (advantageous)
* Understanding of serial communication services
* Experience in systems engineering lifecycle and processes
* Familiarity with defence-grade communication systems and MILSATCOM domain (desirable)
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
* Ability to achieve and maintain SC security clearance, with potential to attain DV clearance
