Are you an experienced Medical Clinical Coder within the NHS?
We’re working with a friendly and supportive GP Practice in South Shields that urgently requires an experienced Clinical Coder on a temporary basis to help clear a backlog of work.
The Role
You’ll be stepping into a busy practice environment where your expertise will be key from day one. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, efficiency, and confidence using EMIS.
Key Duties
Managing emails and filing medical records
Scanning and processing clinical documents
Accurate clinical coding of patient information
Supporting the practice with backlog reduction
Essential Requirements
Previous GP Administration experience
Proven NHS Clinical Coding experience
Strong working knowledge of EMIS (essential)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
