SEND Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role in Sale

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? Our education agency is currently recruiting for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive special needs school in Sale on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs.

The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to students, both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans
Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help manage classroom behaviour in a positive and proactive manner
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parentsRequirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essentialWhat We Offer:
