How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Sales Administrator (Temp to Perm)

    Peterborough | Full-Time | £12.71–£13.50 per hour

    Looking for a role where you can get your foot in the door and build something longer-term? This is a great opportunity to join a busy, supportive sales team with the potential to go permanent.

    We’re looking for a Sales Administrator who’s organised, proactive, and comfortable handling both customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

    What you’ll be doing as a sales administrator:

    Taking incoming orders and handling customer enquiries via phone and email

    Chasing and updating back orders

    Processing sales orders (full system training provided)

    Supporting the wider sales team with general admin

    Liaising with external sales representatives

    Providing occasional cover in the showroom

    What we’re looking for:

    Previous admin or customer service experience (sales admin ideal, but not essential)

    Confident communication skills – both phone and email

    Good attention to detail and ability to stay organised under pressure

    A team player with a proactive attitude

    The details:

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

    Pay: £12.71 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

    Contract: Temp to perm opportunity

    Benefits (once permanent):

    28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

    5 days reserved for Christmas/New Year shutdown

    +1 extra day after 12 months’ service

    Option to increase holiday allowance in exchange for occasional Saturday morning working
