Location: Dungeness
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week.
Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation require a talented Draughtsperson / CAD Operative to join their team based in Dungeness. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and technical drawing and wants to contribute to important projects within a regulated yet collaborative environment.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson or in a similar role.
- Recognised CAD qualification essential.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software (knowledge of GTX RasterCAD Plus or similar Raster/Vector software would be a bonus).
- Good understanding of technical drawings, building codes, and industry standards.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Role information:
- Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on specifications given by engineers and registered contract partners.
- Collaborate with engineers, contract partners, and project managers to ensure design specifications are met.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Plotter management and scanning.
