How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Head of Quality (RP / RPi) | Pharmaceutical | Senior Leadership

This isn’t just another QA leadership role.

This is a chance to step into a high-impact position within a fast-paced, commercially driven and agile pharmaceutical business supplying a wide range of products across the UK and global markets.

The business is going through a period of growth and evolution, with Quality playing a central role in supporting that journey. If you’re someone who thrives where quality meets commercial reality, this one’s worth a look!

    The role

You’ll take full ownership of Quality across the business, acting as Responsible Person (RP) and Responsible Person for Import (RPi) - ensuring everything is compliant, audit-ready, and built to scale.

This is a true leadership role. You won’t just maintain standards - you’ll shape the Quality strategy, influence decision-making and drive improvements across the wider business. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring Quality is seen as a business enabler, working closely with cross functional teams to support growth in a compliant way.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Leading and developing a high-performing QA team
    • Owning and evolving the Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Ensuring full compliance with GDP, GMP and MHRA regulations
    • Acting as RP / RPi across multiple licences
    • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
    • Leading MHRA inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
    • Partnering with commercial and operational teams to support business growth and decision-making

The successful candidate for the Head of Quality role will have the following background.

    • A proven track record of leading teams within pharmaceutical quality
    • Strong experience operating as an RP (and ideally RPi) - essential
    • Deep knowledge of GDP, GMP and MHRA requirements
    • Someone who communicates clearly and can collaborate and influence stakeholders across the business
    • A proactive, solutions-focused leader who can operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment

    Why this role?

    • You’ll be joining a business with real momentum and exciting plans for growth
    • You’ll have genuine ownership and the ability to shape how Quality operates
    • You’ll be part of a team that values speed, quality, and commercial thinking equally
    • A chance to build, improve and leave a lasting impact on the organisation

    On offer:

    • Competitive base pay + market-leading benefits package (annual bonus, private healthcare, life assurance, pension scheme & a range of additional benefits)

A more detailed job description for the role will be provided at the shortlisting phase. Alternatively, you can reach out directly for more information.

***Please note, Visa sponsorship is not provided with this. The successful candidate must provide full eligibility of their legal right to work in the UK***
