This position will play a key role in supporting and strengthening financial management across a dynamic grants’ portfolio. This is a highly collaborative position, working closely with finance, programme, and partnership teams to provide insight, drive decision-making, and ensure funding is used effectively and strategically.
You’ll act as a critical link between finance and grant-making teams, translating complex financial data into meaningful insights while helping shape funding decisions that maximise impact.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, programme, and partnership teams
Provide strategic financial advice and guidance on grant-making activities
Support due diligence, budgeting, and financial reviews
Deliver clear financial insights to support senior decision-making
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support grant forecasting processes and long-term financial planning
Monitor budgets and commitments, identifying risks and opportunities
Ensure funds are allocated effectively in line with donor requirements
Management Reporting
Produce accurate, timely financial reports for stakeholders
Analyse financial performance, highlighting trends and variances
Present financial data in a clear and accessible way
Systems & Process Improvement
Support and enhance financial systems and grant management tools
Drive process improvements across financial workflows
Collaborate with teams to improve reporting and data quality

About You
Skills & Experience
Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting expertise
Proven experience in business partnering and stakeholder engagement
Experience in financial reporting and data analysis
Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands

Qualifications
Relevant accounting qualification (or equivalent experience)
