We are looking to recruit a number of Warehouse Operatives on a permanent basis to join our team in our East Grinstead office. The role is working 47.50 hours a week. 10.00am till 7.30pm Mon- Thurs & 9.30am till 7.00 pm Fridays.
The Role:
The role is to ensure the product makes its way to the customer in the right time and in the correct manner to avoid any disruption on our customer production lines. Working within the warehouse team, ensuring that product arriving is received and processed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure high levels of stock availability.
Picking product to a high standard ensuring a “right first time” mentality is applied to the ways of working to avoid any customer disruption while maintain high batch and country of origin standards to ensure the highest level of batch and stock integrity. Packing product to a high standard to ensure it arrives undamaged upon reaching the customer destination. In addition, some driving duties may be required as and when to support business needs.
Key Tasks:
- Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing, and dispatching orders with speed and precision.
- Inventory Care: Assisting with stock takes and ensuring all inventory is stored correctly.
- Quality Control: Checking incoming goods against delivery notes to maintain our high standards.
- Efficiency: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace to keep operations running smoothly.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with the wider team to meet daily dispatch deadlines.
- Any other reasonable duties to support the delivery of exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers.
The Candidate:
We are seeking a service-driven individual with a ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to solve problems effectively. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator with a solid understanding of warehousing and basic workflow processes.
The successful candidate will be physically capable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude and the ability to contribute to a collaborative working environment are key components of the role.
Previous experience in Warehouse or Logistics is a plus, but not essential. We value a great work ethic and a willingness to learn above all!
