How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting for our client, an award winning agency in London. They are looking for someone who can think natively for social, understand platform trends, audience behaviours, and create content that performs. The role is 2 days a week (Thursday and Monday or Friday and Monday ) at £240 per day (it can be a mix of remote and in office).


    This is a junior to mid freelance social media design role. You will need a portfolio demonstrating that work.


    You’ll produce scroll-stopping creative that’s both strategically aligned and culturally relevant. From static posts to motion graphics, you’ll play a key role in bringing premium lifestyle and FMCG brands to life across social platforms.


    What you’ll do

    • Work with a senior CD to design high-performing, platform-native content across social channels
    • Translate brand guidelines into engaging, social-first creative
    • Collaborate closely with strategists, social managers, and copywriters to ideate and execute ideas
    • Stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform updates, proactively bringing new ideas to the table
    • Adapt and evolve creative based on performance insights


    What we’re looking for

    • Proven experience designing specifically for social media (agency or in-house)
    • Portfolio showcasing social-first work (beyond brand or print design)
    • Deep understanding of platform nuances and what drives engagement
    • Ability to think conceptually and execute visuals
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills


    Required skills

    • Advanced proficiency in professional design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
    • Strong motion skills (After Effects or similar) (nice to have)
    • Understanding of typography, layout, and brand systems
    • Experience adapting brand guidelines to feel social
    • Knowledge of performance metrics and how creative impacts results
    • Ability to create assets optimised for different platform specs
    • Awareness of social trends, formats, and cultural moments
    • (Optional but desirable) Video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
