Hours: Full‑time or part‑time, term time
Salary: £150-£250 per day (dependent on experience)
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) to work across secondary schools in Luton. This role involves delivering engaging Geography lessons at KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or early career teachers looking for flexible work, long‑term placements or a route into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high‑quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
Inspire and motivate students through engaging and inclusive teaching
Maintain strong classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
Assess, mark and provide feedback on student work
Track student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Contribute positively to the wider school environment
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Strong subject knowledge in Geography
Confident and effective classroom practitioner
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Flexible, reliable and committed to pupil progress
Previous secondary school teaching experience is desirable but not essential
