How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Site Operations Manager

    Leeds | £45,000 + Bonus (up to £5,000)

    Lead Operations. Drive Performance. Deliver in a Critical Environment.

    We are recruiting for a Site Operations Manager to lead the delivery of Soft FM services within a fast-paced, highly regulated, 24/7 operational environment.

    This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across a complex site. You will lead teams, manage performance, and work closely with key stakeholders to maintain operational excellence in a time-critical setting.

    The Role

    Lead the day-to-day delivery of site-based Soft FM operations

    Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with performance standards

    Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational output

    Champion a strong health & safety culture, ensuring full compliance at all times

    Act as the key escalation point for operational issues and service delivery challenges

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and on-site stakeholders

    Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance, driving improvements where required

    Lead, coach, and develop teams to deliver consistently high standards

    Respond to operational disruptions, ensuring continuity of service

    Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, safety, and efficiency

    About You

    Proven experience in an operational leadership role within a fast-paced, regulated environment

    Background in Soft FM, facilities management, or operational services within a critical environment

    Strong leadership capability, with experience managing large or multi-functional teams

    Experience operating within a 24/7, shift-based environment

    Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance

    Commercially aware, with experience managing performance, costs, and efficiency

    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

    Calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under pressure
