How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Supply Teacher (Richmond)

Location: Richmond UIpon Thames, London | Sector: Education and Training | Contract: Supply / Day-to-Day

Here's the updated ad with enhanced benefits and Richmond throughout:

SANZA Teaching Agency are partnering with additional primary schools across Richmond Upon Thames to source confident and experienced Supply Teachers for day-to-day and short-notice cover, available to begin immediately.

Richmond Upon Thames covers some of South West London's most educationally ambitious communities - an area that is home to long-standing, well-run respected schools. These are schools that will allow you to focus on teaching and learning, rather than classroom management, and provides the environment and support to make that possible. Cover is managed with real care, with lesson resources ready and a supportive team nearby.

SANZA has well-established partnerships across Twickenham, Teddington, Richmond, Hampton, Sheen and Wandsworth- meaning we can keep your working week as full as you want it, with further post-SATs opportunities across the patch.

    Benefits:

Instant access to two agencies, one registration - a single sign-up connects you to both SANZA Teaching Agency and our sister company, unlocking a broad portfolio of schools throughout Wandsworth and Richmond. More doors open from day one.
Pay that reflects your professionalism - long-term placements are paid at MPS/UPS equivalent rates, including holiday pay, so your experience and qualifications are properly rewarded.
Straightforward, transparent pay every week - weekly payments with no umbrella companies, no hidden deductions, and no unpleasant surprises. What you're quoted is accurate.
Work with schools worth working for - our strong, established relationships with high-performing primary schools, SEN units and academy trusts mean you'll be placed in settings where your skills are genuinely valued and put to good use.
A consultant who actually knows you - dedicated consultants take the time to understand your strengths, preferred year groups and career goals, so your bookings work for you, not just the school.
2,500+ CPD courses, completely free - access The National College's extensive online library covering EYFS, phonics, behaviour management, safeguarding, administration systems and much more. Whether you're maintaining your practice or actively developing it, the resource is there whenever you need it.
Flexibility that fits your life - whether you want a packed week or carefully selected days, we'll build a pattern around your availability, commitments and lifestyle. Supply teaching on your terms.
A network that supports your long-term career - from your first booking onwards, you'll have a warm, professional point of contact invested in your progression. This isn't a transactional relationship; it's an ongoing one.At a Glance
