We are seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Portsmouth area. This is a great opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop practical cooking skills and an understanding of nutrition.
You will play a key role in encouraging creativity, independence and confidence in the kitchen.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering practical and theory-based Food Technology lessons
• Teaching students key cooking and nutrition skills
• Ensuring a safe and organised learning environment
• Supporting curriculum planning and development
• Monitoring student progress and attainment
• Encouraging creativity and independence
• Supporting wider departmental activities
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Food Technology or Design & Technology
• Strong subject knowledge and practical skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Good classroom and behaviour management
• Organised and safety-conscious approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
