You would need previous experience with a good knowledge and understanding of Autism and Learning Disabilities working in residential & supported living services.

The role involves supporting with person care (where required), assisting with daily tasks like cooking/cleaning, daily activities, accessing the community and promoting independence & inclusion.
We offer various shifts including early, lates, long days, mid-shifts and nights spread across a 7-day period.
Ideally we'd need you to have a Child & Adult DBS on the the update service & able to driver with access to your own car.
This role offers ad-hoc shifts to fit around any commitments you already have.

A minimum of 12 months experience working in a support worker role with a Healthcare Agency or 6 months as a permanent care worker.
An excellent understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities.
Understand the importance of routines & sensory processing for individuals.
Ability to offer a person-centred approach as outlined in individual care plans.
Experience supporting people aged 18 upwards with additional / complex needs and challenging behaviours.
Reliable and Confident Approach.
Knowledge of Safeguarding.
Right to Work in the UK.Desirable:
Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
