About the TrustWe are delighted to be supporting a dynamic and ambitious Multi‑Academy Trust based in Wakefield as it enters a significant period of organisational change. The Trust is currently progressing through a merger with another MAT, creating a fast‑paced and evolving environment where strong executive support is essential.
To assist through this transition, the Trust is seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to join on a temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy setting, can hit the ground running, and enjoys providing high‑level support at senior leadership level.
The RoleAs Executive Assistant, you will be a key point of coordination for the CEO and wider Executive Team. You will provide a proactive, professional and confidential PA service, ensuring the smooth running of executive operations during a critical period for the Trust.This is a varied and hands‑on role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a high‑level, proactive PA service to the CEO and members of the Executive Team.
Manage the CEO's diary, and support diary management for other Executive Team members, arranging meetings and activities with minimal direction.
Oversee and direct the Administration & Project Assistant, ensuring effective support for diary and administrative tasks.
Manage Trust mailboxes on behalf of the CEO and COO, delegating actions appropriately.
Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
Collate information and produce reports, communications, correspondence and documentation on behalf of the CEO and Executive Team.
Attend Executive Team and wider Operations Team meetings, providing administrative support as required.
Maintain the Trust Policy action tracker and Policy library, ensuring policy leads update documents in line with timelines and that Trustees receive policies for approval.About YouThe ideal candidate will bring:
Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex or fast‑moving organisation.
Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and the confidence to work independently.
High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
