How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    *    Translate complex requirements into elegant, intuitive, and accessible design solutions.
    *    Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
    *    Design marketing websites and landing pages that are visually engaging and conversion optimised.
    *    Apply sound design principles, including hierarchy, contrast, consistency, and accessibility.
    *    Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to uncover user needs and business goals.

    Required Skills & Experience

    *    Proven experience designing for both software applications and marketing websites.
    *    Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping.
    *    Solid understanding of UX research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
    *    Ability to balance creativity with usability and business objectives.
    *    Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and design systems.
    *    Excellent communication skills – able to present and justify design decisions clearly.
    *    Experience working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

    Desirable Skills

    *    Awareness of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics to support collaboration with developers and inform design decisions.
    *    Familiarity with SEO and CRO to support data-driven design decisions.
    *    Advanced Figma skills including scalable design systems, interactive prototypes, and collaboration features.
    *    Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), atomic design principles, and inclusive design practices.
    *    Ability to organise intuitive user flows, create personas and journey maps, and present design concepts aligned with business goals.
