How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are pleased to be working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Witney who are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join their growing field team as a Field Technician.

    This is a practical, site-based role involving travel to locations across the country, with requirement for overnight stays.

    A full, clean driving license is essential.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing materials to precise specifications. The role also involves heat welding materials using specialist tools to deliver a high-quality, visually appealing finish.
    Working as part of a skilled pair, you'll receive full training and ongoing support to develop your expertise and confidence on-site.

    What We're Looking For

    . Strong practical, hands-on skills
    . Previous experience in construction or roofing (desirable but not essential)
    . Good organisational and communication abilities
    . A flexible approach to travel and working hours

    What's Provided

    . Full training (including 1-to-1 support), spanning a minimum of 18 months
    . Company vehicle and all necessary tools/equipment
    . Overtime opportunities (paid at enhanced rates)
