About the Opportunity:
The firm prides itself on having a modern, forward looking approach and they are seeking to recruit an individual who shares the same positive outlook. This is a part time opportunity for a Payroll & Tax Administrator.
About the Responsibilities:
Joining as a Payroll & Tax Administrator you will be part of the tax team supporting with:
* End to end processing of payroll for client base
* Managing HMRC RTI submissions
* Managing and processing the payroll YE reporting
* Handing payroll queries and processing starter, leaver and payroll changes
* Calculation of deductions, benefits and statutory payments
* Compliance to HMRC deadlines and payroll legislation
* HMRC tax administration for the company's corporate and personal portfolio
* Assisting the tax team with the personal tax portfolio [basic admin to preparation of basic tax returns as requested and required]
* Assisting with the monthly billing for the Tax team.
* Other duties as required and instructed by the Tax Manager and Tax Director
About the Applicant:
As the successful applicant, you will:
* Have good teamwork and communication skills
* Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of clients and directors
* Have excellent organisational and problem solving skills
* Have 1-2 years’ experience within a payroll or tax administrator role
* Have 3 A-Levels with grade BBB or equivalent
* Be a graduate with at least a grade of 2:2 in any field of study
* The successful candidate will be expected to communicate with clients directly, so excellent spoken and written English skills are a requirement.
* A professional, enthusiastic and responsible approach are required, as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to work independently.
* The role includes the requirement to carry out research and review complex legislation at times, therefore an eye for detail is also important.
