They are currently seeking Consultants and Senior Consultants to join their Employment Taxes practice.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work closely with clients on a wide range of employment tax matters, while developing technical expertise and commercial awareness. Successful candidates will manage key elements of client relationships, contribute to business development activity, and support junior colleagues as part of a team-focused culture.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Assisting clients in understanding complex tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
* Supporting employment tax due diligence work relating to corporate transactions.
* Researching employment tax case law and precedents.
* Advising on the tax treatment of employee remuneration, including salary, equity, benefits, and expenses.
* Building and maintaining technical employment tax knowledge through structured development and independent research.
* Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries, liaison, and disputes.
* Delivering high-quality advisory work, including drafting correspondence, compliance project support, and written advice.
* Attending and contributing to client meetings, leading where appropriate.
* Focusing on personal and technical development through continuous training and review processes.
* Working effectively within diverse teams in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Person Specification
* Strong understanding of current employment tax legislation.
* Qualified or part-qualified ACA / CTA, with ATT fully qualified (or equivalent).
* Ability to analyse and apply legislation to client scenarios.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
* Client-facing experience with the ability to build and manage relationships.
* Commercial awareness and business development capability.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the external market and legislation.
* Team-focused approach with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
