How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Product Data Scientist
    Location: Remote - UK
    Type of role- 6 Months contract with potential extension
    Payrate - £498 - £679 Per Day Inside IR35

    We're hiring a Data Scientist to join a globally recognised audio streaming platform, supporting their experimentation and analytics ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-impact product used to power A/B testing and data-driven decision-making at scale.

    This role sits within a fast-paced analytics team and is focused on hands-on data analysis, experiment monitoring, and stakeholder reporting rather than machine learning or research work.

    What you'll be doing:

    Build and maintain dashboards tracking experiment performance and platform adoption
    Analyse A/B tests, ensuring data quality, validity, and actionable insights
    Perform deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis on experiment health and user behaviour
    Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to support decision-making
    Translate complex data into clear, impactful narratives for stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:

    Strong SQL skills (essential) with experience working on large datasets
    Solid Python experience (pandas, NumPy) for data analysis
    Strong understanding of A/B testing and experimentation concepts

    Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
    Ability to work independently in a distributed team environmentNice to have:

    Experience with BigQuery and dbt
    Exposure to experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, LaunchDarkly)
    Familiarity with experiment quality frameworks or advanced testing methodsIf you're a hands-on analyst who enjoys working with data at scale and driving insights through experimentation, this could be a great fit.
