Middleweight Designer
Mattr. - London Bridge
We're a growing brand experience agency looking for a Middleweight Designer to grow with us. If you want real ownership of meaningful work, not just a seat at the table, read on.
You understand how ideas become identity, and how identity holds up in the real world. Not just how it looks, but how it behaves. You're comfortable working across brand, environments and activation, from systems to the details that make them real. You're building confidence in your point of view and want more ownership of the work.
Who we are.
Most brands don't struggle for ideas. They struggle to make them real. That's where we work. Between strategy and delivery. Between concept and operation. Between what's imagined and what actually gets built.
We create branded stories across identity, space and experience. Not as separate disciplines, but as one connected system. From naming and narrative through to environments and activation.
The work varies. From stadiums and large-scale destinations to high street, retail and brand worlds. From strategy and identity to spatial design, campaigns and the details that bring it all together.
Built with intent. Proven in reality. No dilution. No disconnect.
Who you are.
You have 5 years+ of experience in brand or graphic design, with a strong foundation and the confidence to apply it. You're developing ideas, not just refining them. You understand how systems are built and how they hold together in the real world. You care about detail, but never lose sight of the bigger picture. You're organised, proactive and able to keep momentum across projects. You want more ownership, more responsibility and more impact on the work.
What you'll do.
You'll work across the full arc of a project, from early-stage thinking and identity development through to delivery and the details that make it stick. That means crafting considered work, building presentations that communicate the thinking behind it, and working closely with the team to keep things aligned and moving. The goal is always the same: ideas that hold up beyond the page.
You may also bring skills in motion, digital or web. It's not essential, but understanding how work moves, behaves or is built adds real value.
What we offer.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, 24 days holiday plus your birthday off, and a hybrid setup with three days in our bright, spacious London Bridge studio and the option to work from home on Fridays. Dogs welcome, naturally.
Beyond the practicalities, this is a studio where the work genuinely matters and so does the environment you do it in. We're a small, close team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously. Creativity, curiosity and humour are as important to us as craft and purpose. You'll have real input from day one, work across genuinely varied projects, and be part of a growing agency at a formative moment, where the culture, the standards and the ambition are still being shaped. We make sure to enjoy it along the way, with regular team socials and events. That's a rare thing. We don't take it for granted.
Studio.
Located between London Bridge and Shad Thames. We work together in the studio during the week. The work benefits from being in the room, sharing ideas, solving problems and building momentum together.
