We are building a high-performance team and are now looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations as we scale.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business, working closely with our external accountants and internal team to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial records.
This is a key role with real visibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Assist with payroll coordination (in conjunction with external provider)
- VAT returns preparation and submission support
- Support monthly management accounts preparation
- Liaise with external accountants (Summers Morgan) and advisors
- Maintain financial documentation and compliance records
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting as the business grows
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks or similar)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
- Experience in FMCG, distribution or startup environments
- Familiarity with payroll and pension processes in the UK
- AAT qualified (or working towards)
