How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Their mission? To invest over £1 billion into the UK & European healthcare sector.

Why Apply? To take your career from an external advisory role onto the buyside, working to find and manage the right deals, manage the integration into the firms portfolio and staying involved with them in the long term.

    The Opportunity:

    • Join a team that specializes in asset-backed healthcare investments covering children’s social care, education services, and adult specialist care services.
    • Leverage your deep sector knowledge, swift decision-making abilities, and unwavering integrity.
    • Focus on building enduring partnerships with successful, high-quality care providers – no underperforming or distressed opportunities.
    • Engage in transaction structures including sale & leasebacks and M&A.
    • Work with individual investments ranging from £20 million to £500 million+.
    • Contribute to new investment strategies, including expansion into Europe and the elderly care sector.

    The Role:

    • Report to the Head of Healthcare while collaborating closely with the Transactions Team, Finance, Asset Management, and external advisors.
    • Utilize your sector expertise and transaction experience to identify, evaluate, convert, and execute investment opportunities.
    • Engage in ad hoc projects to shape the firm's evolving investment strategy, explore new markets, and collaborate with care providers across the existing portfolio.

    Specific Experience and Requirements:

    • Degree level education or equivalent, ideally with an accountancy or recognized business qualification.
    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant transaction experience, typically in an advisory role at an Investment Bank, an M&A Boutique, a Big 4 advisory team, or similar
    • Experience working on transactions in the care home sector.

Join this dedicated team in driving positive change in the healthcare sector! If you possess the skills and values we're looking for, apply now to be part of this impactful journey.
