How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    A highly respected national insurance broker is seeking a client-focused Account Handler to join their established team.


    This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Commercial and Mid-Corporate clients, delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.


    About the Role:

    • As a key member of the team, you’ll work closely with Account Executives to manage and support a range of commercial clients.
    • You’ll be the first point of contact for all client queries, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism and expertise.



    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Delivering a high-quality, efficient service to clients across a variety of sectors.
    • Supporting Account Executives in the day-to-day management and renewal of client portfolios.
    • Preparing, processing, and reviewing all documentation related to policy placement, amendments, and renewals.
    • Building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
    • Contributing to the company’s strong reputation for professionalism, competence, and outstanding customer service.


    About You:

    • We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine passion for delivering excellence.
    • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance brokerage.
    • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • The ability to work effectively under pressure and handle complex information with confidence.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving, negotiation, and client management.
    • A commitment to personal and professional growth – CII study support is available for those looking to progress their qualifications.
