How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

KS2 Class Teacher | Part Time | Ealing, London | September Start

Are you a KS2 Class Teacher looking for a part time role in a school with a warm, well established community ethos, strong values and a genuine commitment to every child's development?

A two-form entry Primary School in Ealing, is looking to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher on a part time basis. The role is available at either 0.4 or 0.6 and would suit a teacher looking for a meaningful part time position within a school that takes real pride in its community and its people.

The school was rated Good by Ofsted in April 2024 and holds an Outstanding grading from the Diocese of London following its most recent SIAMS inspection. It is a school with deep roots in its local community, founded in 1780, and one that has retained its traditional ethos and distinctive Christian character through generations of change in the area around it.

School and KS2 Class Teacher role overview:

    • Two form entry Primary School with around 410 pupils
    • Situated on a split site with a strong sense of place and community
    • Diverse and multicultural cohort and a significant EAL population
    • Part time KS2 Class Teacher role at 0.4 or 0.6 for a September 2026 start
    • Inner London MPS1 to UPS3

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be joining a school where excellent relationships and genuine teamwork across the whole school community create a positive and welcoming environment. The low pupil mobility rate is a telling indicator of how families feel about this school, it is a place where children feel settled, safe and genuinely known by the adults around them.

This is a school that values its staff. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers, and the part time nature of the role makes it well suited to a teacher looking for a fulfilling position alongside other commitments.

The successful KS2 Class Teacher will bring warmth and high expectations to their classroom and be committed to working in close partnership with families and the wider school community.

If you are a KS2 Class Teacher looking for a part time September start in Ealing, get in touch with Ribbons and Reeves today to find out more about this school and others like it in the area.
